The Chilkoot Trail…. your chance to experience something special! Join us for what promises to be an unforgettable adventure through the remote wilderness areas of the Yukon and Alaska. Originally used as an trading route by the Tlingit First Nations between the Coast and the tribes inland, eventually became a highway during the Klondike Gold Rush of 1897-98, used heavily by those seeking their fame and fortune during this era. Today, the Chilkoot trail is jointly managed by Parks Canada and the US Parks Service, preserved as a National Historic Site and maintained for recreational users. Join us on the inaugural fastpack of this 53km challenging mountainous route in 2022.
Remote and logistically complex involving multiple trains, transfers, border crossings and permits, we have taken care of all the leg work so you can just enjoy the experience, the history of the Gold Rush and the challenge of the Chilkoot Trail.
