Mountain Magic!
Remote. Stunning. Beautiful.
Do you dream of running through the mountains and seeing no-one? This is your opportunity to truly get away and be apart of the first ever running trip into Whitecap, a remote lodge with all the comforts of home (hot showers, wifi only if desired, lodge based sauna and amazing food) located in McGillivray Pass. The trip begins with a helicopter ride into the cozy and welcoming Whitecap lodge which offers everything you can expect from a modern yet rustic cabin in the alpine. Each day we will set out from the lodge to explore and run all that the area has to offer. This trip would not be complete if we didn’t experience the now famous lake-side sauna at an undisclosed alpine location. The views and vistas will blow your mind and the amazing food pre and post run will keep you full and energized.
This is a running trip for intermediate to advanced runners only. While there are some great trails we will use, a lot of the running will be open landscape, plateau and ridge terrain. Therefor, participants need to be comfortable moving in rugged, off camber terrain using a hike/run approach. We invite you to come challenge yourself in the whitecap alpine. The pace will not be fast and there may be times that we split into 2 different groups.
This trip meets and ends in Pemberton, BC. Prices are based on shared accommodations in a luxury yurt.
Please see Whitecap’s covid management plan which is regularly updated based on changing mandates.
